Women and Adolescent Girls Empowered

Better Life for All (BLFA) proudly celebrated the successful graduation of youth who completed a three-month vocational training program conducted at a vocational training center.

The program aimed to equip young people with practical skills, enhance their employability, and empower them to become self-reliant and productive members of society. Throughout the training, participants gained hands-on experience in various vocational fields, along with essential life and entrepreneurship skills.

The graduation ceremony was honored by the presence of Mr. Berso Dori, Head of Adama City Mayor’s Office, and Mr. Fasiga Mola, Vice Director of the FDRE Authority for Civil Society Organizations, who delivered keynote speeches.

In his remarks, Mr. Berso Dori emphasized the importance of youth empowerment and skill development in driving local economic growth. He commended Better Life for All for its impactful contribution to supporting young people and encouraged the graduates to use their skills to build a better future for themselves and their communities.

Similarly, Mr. Fasiga Mola highlighted the critical role of civil society organizations in national development. He praised BLFA’s efforts in promoting youth employment and capacity building, and reaffirmed the government’s support for initiatives that strengthen community resilience and sustainable development.

The graduates expressed their gratitude for the opportunity, noting that the training has significantly improved their skills, confidence, and future prospects.
